How does it work?

The filter has longitudinal micropores in the center with a thickness of no more than 0.1 microns (a human hair is about 100 microns thick – that is, a thousand times thicker), impurities, bacteria and parasites are unable to pass through such narrow pores, they are trapped in them and at the output of the filter you get perfectly clean water. To clean the micropores, rinse the filter in reverse with the attached syringe and purified water, then you can use the filter again.

What is the difference between Squeeze and Sawyer Mini?

– better for larger expedition groups, has about 30% faster water flow – it filters much faster,
– twice as fast cleaning with gravity filtration (when suspending the filter with a bottle or bag to filter down into the container),
– is ideal for connecting to hydration bags, adapters included.

The Sawyer Squeeze is ideal for outdoor recreation, hiking, camping, scouting, domestic and international travel and emergency preparedness. There is no need to lug many liters of heavy water with you in your backpack, we can always „get” it on the spot, from a lake, river or even a puddle.
It can be attached to the included drinking pouch, standard disposable plastic water bottles, hydration backpacks.
The manufacturer claims that the filter is able to purify 370,000 liters of water before it breaks down, so it lasts a lifetime.

Regeneration involves plugging the supplied and filled with purified water syringe into the filter outlet and vigorously squeezing the water with the syringe through the filter to get rid of impurities, the procedure should be carried out several times.

This is much more practical and healthier than the popular water purification tablets that contain chlorine. Tablets change the taste of water, negatively affect health, and with them you have to wait 30-60 minutes for a small amount of water to be purified.
